NCTJ-accredited sports journalist with experience in digital publishing, proofreading and editing, alongside media production and presenting - radio, television and digital. 

I have experience in digital publishing through my role as a sub-editor at FromTheSpot and a motorsport writer for The Paddock Chronicle. I also created my own sports blog, Winning Ways, whilst additionally co-hosting the Full Throttle Motorsport Podcast.

I have dedicated the start of my career to obtaining the qualifications necessary to pursue a career in the media industry, specifically sports journalism, while building a portfolio of articles to show future employers. 

I have acquired an NCTJ Diploma at PA Media Academy following the conclusion of my studies at Loughborough University, where I obtained a degree in Media and Communication BSc. I have gained newsroom experience both at PA and at Times Radio during a work experience opportunity, as well as experience in digital publishing through my roles at FromTheSpot and The Paddock Chronicle, where I worked as a sub-editor and motorsport writer, respectively. 

I left school in 2019, unsure whether I should go to university and what subject to study. I excelled in my A Levels and subsequently decided not to attend university. Instead, I took a year out travelling down the east coast of Australia.

After returning to the UK in January 2020, I worked as a gap student at Ardingly College with the intention of joining university later that year. However, Covid-19 put another spanner in the works, and I decided to continue with Ardingly until the end of the year. 

In 2021, I decided to study Media and Communication at Loughborough University, which is the best university in the world for sports-related subjects. After joining, I immediately took up a new sport, men's lacrosse, playing in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitions for two years. I ultimately played for Loughborough's first team, and captained the second team in my second season. 

While studying, I created a sports blog called Winning Ways, and additionally co-created the Full Throttle Motorsport Podcast in my final year. We covered not just Formula One, but a plethora of other categories, including: IndyCar, Formula E, World Endurance Championship, Moto GP, accompanied by feeder series such as F1 Academy, F2 and F3. On the final race of the 2023 season, we did a live televised episode distributed through LSUTV's YouTube channel.

After accomplishing an Upper Second-Class Honours in my degree, while obtaining a First-Class Honours in my dissertation, Alternative Consumption, which focused on the illegal online streaming of English Premier League matches - I wanted to pursue a career in the sports media industry. 

I got a work experience opportunity at Times Radio in September 2024 following my graduation, where my role of an observer evolved into that of a researched and writer for Cathy Newman's Drive programme, Calum Macdonald and Chloe Tilley's breakfast show and Alexis Conran's afternoon segment. For the latter, I wrote sports headlines for Conran as I focused primarily on the Baku Grand Prix and other sporting events. 

This encouraged me to gain an NCTJ Diploma at PA Media Academy, where I learned vital knowledge of essential media law, public affairs, digital and sport journalism, as well as developing my shorthand skills. Simultaneously, I acquired two voluntary jobs, working as a sub-editor for FromTheSpot and as a motorsport writer at The Paddock Chronicle. 

I am now focusing on obtaining a full-time role in the sports media industry and welcome any opportunity.
